The hotel had a great location near the city center, making it convenient for exploring. The rooms were spacious, but had a lingering smoke smell from a previous guest. The hotel offers close-up views of the neighboring building from the rooms, but the complimentary afternoon tea in the lounge with karak tea is a nice touch. The location is convenient for those with a car, but dull for others. The dining experience has a good selection, including delicious made-to-order eggs, but lacks some variety. The service is friendly and helpful, though there was a slight misunderstanding. Overall, a decent stay with some room for improvement.

I was pleasantly surprised by the hotel's prime location near the Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque and its spacious, well-appointed rooms.
